Abstract
This Order applies to the trade of food in contact with materials containing hazardous sources that may harm consumers' health. Companies manufacturing such materials shall be required to adhere to EU directives thereof.
This Order consists of 5 Chapters and 5 Annexes: Area (1); Definitions (2); Marketing and withdrawal (3); Special manufacturing, use and test conditions for certain materials and objects (4); Penal provisions and entry into force (5).
Annex 1 - List of substances which may be used in the manufacture of regenerated cellulose.
Annex 2 - Limits for lead and cadmium from ceramic and enameled objects and glassware.
Annex 3 - Requirements of documentation for companies trading in materials in contact with food.
Annex 4 - List of additives that act solely as surface biocides and intended to remain in the finished product, article 12.
Annex 5 - List of Appendices.
