Abstract
This Order ensures guidelines of preservation, capture, trade and care of injured wildlife of animal species such as mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates and plant species.
The Oorder consists of 5 Chapters and 6 Appendices: Protected animals and plants (1); Capture and trade of wildlife and import (2); Caring for injured wildlife (3); Deviations (4); Appeals (5).
Appendix 1, 2, 3 - Species listed in Annex IV of Council Directive 92/43/EEC of 21 May 1992 on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora (Habitats Directive).
Appendix 4 - Leeches and snails, Hirudo medicinalis and Helix pomatia.
Appendix 5 & 6 - Mammals and birds.
