Abstract
This Act applies to Danish ships and regulates that every ship must be built, equipped and operated so that life at sea is guaranteed complete safety, and so that it is suitable for the purpose it is at all times intended.
This Act consists of 13 Chapters: Acts implementation for Danish and foreign vessels (1); Provisions relating to vessel construction, equipment and operation (2); Precautions for the voyage (3); General obligations (4); Detention and refusal (5); Inspection (6); Board of Maritime Conditions (7); Classification companies (8); Payment and security criteria in connection with inspections and detentions (9); Ships inspection (10); Occupational Health and Safety services (11); Penal provisions (12); Entry into force (13).
