Abstract
This Statutory Order makes provision for approval pursuant to section 8 of the Environment and Genetic Engineering Act on installations and genetically modified microorganisms for production and reporting of new production using other genetically modified microorganisms within the framework of a previous approval. "Genetically modified microorganisms" are microorganisms, including cells in cultures and viruses, featuring genetic material that has been altered in a way that does not occur naturally (see Annex 1). The production using genetically modified microorganisms shall be classified in four classes (see Annex 3).
