Abstract
This Regulation, made under provisions of Section 11 (2), Section 29 (7) of the Fishing Act, Section 11 (2) point 3 of the Environmental Charge Act, and Section 44 (4) point 4, Section 51 (5) and Section 52 of the Governmental Regulation no. 65 of 2016 “the Fishing Regulations”, establishes areas in the Baltic Sea and in various lakes where recreational fishing is allowed; the limit number of fishing gear allowed to be used in these areas; temporary fishing restrictions in recreational fishing and long-line fishing; fee for recreational fishing based on a fishing card. The Regulation details: restrictions on carp fishing in recreational fishing, and on crab fishing.
