Abstract
Pursuant to Regulation (EC) No. 178/2002, which authorizes the Commission to suspend the marketing or the use of a food which is likely to constitute a serious risk to human health, the present Decision prohibits the importation into the Community of chilli and chilli products which are not accompanied by an analytical report demonstrating that the products do not contain any of the chemical substances listed out in article 2. Member States shall inform the Commission, through the rapid alert system for food and feed, of all consignments which are found to contain those chemical substances. Adulterated consignments shall be destroyed.
