Commission Regulation (EU) 2025/351 amending Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food, amending Regulation (EU) 2022/1616 on recycled plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with foods, and repealing Regulation (EC) No 282/2008, and amending Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 on good manufacturing practice for materials and articles intended to come into contact with food as regards recycled plastic and other matters related to quality control and manufacturing of plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.

This Regulation makes amendments in Regulation (EU) No 10/2011, Regulation (EU) 2022/1616 and Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 by: (i) amending several articles of Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 as regards the obligation to have a high degree of purity of a substance used in the manufacture of plastic materials and articles; general requirements on substances used in the manufacture of plastic materials and articles; general restrictions and requirements concerning the composition of plastic materials and articles; labelling and documentation; (ii) amending Annexes III to V of Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 in accordance with Annex I to this Regulation; (iii) amending paragraph 2 of Article 4 of Regulation (EU) 2022/1616 regarding the requirements to be applied to recycled plastic materials and articles; and (iv) amending Annex to Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 in accordance with Annex II to this Regulation.
