Abstract
This Directive concerns protective measures against the introduction into the Member States from other Member States or non-member countries of organisms, which are harmful to plants or plant products. Where it is considered, on the basis of the examination laid down in article 6, that the conditions therein are fulfilled, a phytosanitary certificate shall be issued. In the Annex are listed the harmful organisms whose introduction may be prohibited. Annexes also regard plants, plant products and other objects which must be subjected to a plant health inspection in the country of origin or the consignor country, before being permitted to enter any of the Member States.
