Abstract
These Regulations give effect to the provisions of Council Regulation 2016/72 of fixing for 2016 the fishing opportunities for certain fish stocks and groups of fish stocks, applicable in Union waters and, for Union fishing vessels, in certain non-Union waters, and amending Regulation (EU) 2015/104. The master of: (a) an Irish sea-fishing boat wherever it may be, or (b) a sea-fishing boat in the exclusive fishing limits of the State, shall comply with the requirements imposed by the Council Regulation in respect of fishing vessels and masters of such vessels. Any person engaged in recreational fisheries that is fishing for sea bass shall comply with Article 10(5) and (6) of the Quota Regulation.
