Directive 2008/12/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Directive 2006/66/EC on batteries and accumulators and waste batteries and accumulators, as regards the implementing powers conferred on the Commission.

These provisions amend Directive 2006/66/EC on batteries and accumulators and waste batteries and accumulators. The amendments regard the implementing powers which are conferred on the European Community Commission. In particular, the amendments deal with the methodology to be followed for the calculation of annual sales of portable batteries and accumulators, registration of procedures and labelling.
