Abstract
This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry lays down measures, rules, prohibitions, conditions and restrictions for purposes of maintaining good plant health conditions. The Decree implements provisions of the Plant Health Act and deals with a wide variety of matters regarding plant health including: registration of producers, certification of plant health (also for exportation), control of pest ad diseases, packaging of plants and plant material, measures for specific pests and diseases affecting plants, placing on the market of and international trade in planting material, phytosanitary import and export control and competent authorities.
The Decree is completed by ten Schedules concerning the following matters: pests, the introduction and spread shall be prohibited in all member states of the EU or that must meet special requirements for entry to or moving to and from member states of the EU; forms for health certificate and health certificate for re-export; places of entry; plant transport documents; marking of wood packaging under international standards for plant protection (guidelines for regulating wood packaging material in international trade).
