Decree No. 818 of 2012 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry laying down requirements for deep-frozen foodstuffs.

This Decree made pursuant to sections 7, 9 and 11 of the Food Act of 2006, implements provisions of Council Directive on the approximation of the laws of frozen foods and Commission Directive 92/2/EG of laying down the sampling procedure generating and Community method of analysis for the official control of frozen food temperature. It applies to frozen food sold or otherwise communicated in a frozen state but does not apply to ice cream. Rules set out in this Decree concern, among other things: production standards, labelling, storage, transport, sampling of food.
