Abstract
This Decree sets out maximum emission levels for sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and dust from combustion plants and gas turbines with a rated thermal input of at least 50 megawatts which use solid, liquid or gaseous fuels, and the purpose of which is to produce energy. The Decree, among other things, aims at reducing emissions of sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxides from plants licensed before 1 July 1987, so that their emissions remain below the amounts specified in Annex I and II of Directive 2001/80/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the limitation of emissions of certain pollutants into the air from large combustion plants. The Decree also sets limit values for emissions from biomass. It also concerns monitoring and measuring emissions.
