Regulation relative to procedures of environmental impact assessment (No. 792 of 1994).

A Regulation to implement provisions of the Environmental Impact Assessment Act No. 468 of 1994.
The Regulation consists of 17 sections which are divided into 6 Chapters: Tasks of the authorities (1); Indication of projects and the applicability of environment impact procedures in accordance with the decision of the Ministry of the Environment (2); Impact assessment programme and impact assessment statement (3); Publication, hearings and terms (4); Interstate impact assessment procedures (5), Entry into force (6).
The sections of Chapter 1 describe each of the tasks of the Ministry of the Environment respectively the Water and Environment Agency, the county councils, and the contact authorities (sect. 4). Section 5 of Chapter 2 lists the projects for which environmental impact assessment in accordance with comma 1 of section 1 of the Act is required. Sections 6 to 8 appoint contact authorities. Chapter 5 deals with impact assessments in accordance with section 14 of the Act.
