Regulations to amend the Regulations relative to procedures for environmental impact assessment (No. 60 of 1995).

The amendments concern the tasks of the Water and Environment Agency (sect. 2), the tasks of the county councils (sect. 3), the lists of projects for that environment impact assessment is required (sect. 5), contact authorities (sect. 7), coordination of procedures between various local authorities (sect. 9) and the issue of reports and other tasks of the contact authority (sect. 15). The amendments are made in consequence of the transfer of tasks from the county councils to the recently introduced Regional Environment Centres and from the Ministry of the Environment to the Finnish Environment Centre.
