Abstract
These Regulations enforce in Wales, Community legislation on health rules as regards animal by-products and derived products not intended for human consumption. They, among other things: designate the Welsh Ministers as the competent authority; provide for procedure and appeals in respect of registration and approval of operators, establishments or plants; appoint enforcement authorities; and make provision for powers of enforcement.
