Diseases of Animals (Northern Ireland) Order 1981 (S.I. No. 1115 (N.I. 22)).

This Order provides with respect to diseases affecting livestock animals, poultry and wildlife. It prescribes measures for the eradication of and empowers the Department of Agriculture to take additional measures. The Department is also empowered to destroy diseased wildlife. The Order also concerns certain aspects of animal welfare, provides for control on the importation of animals and concerns the administration of substances to animals.
