Natural Mineral Water, Spring Water and Bottled Drinking Water (Wales) Regulations 2015 (W.S.I. No. 1867 (W. 274) of 2015).

These Regulations implement in relation to Wales Community legislation on the exploitation, quality and marketing of natural mineral waters and bottled drinking water. They: prescribe the conditions for recognising natural mineral water; apply restrictions on exploiting springs and the treatment, bottling, labelling, advertisement and sale of water intended to be sold as spring water ; provide rules for the bottling, labelling, advertisement and sale of bottled drinking water; provide rules for the exploitation of natural mineral water springs and protection against pollution of such springs; prescribe the remedial action that must be taken by a food authority in case of non-compliance.
