Abstract
These Regulations make provision in England for the enforcement and execution of directly applicable European marketing standards relating to poultrymeat as principally set out by Commission Regulation (EC) No. 543/2008 laying down detailed rules for the application of Council Regulation (EC) No. 1234/2007 as regards the marketing standards for poultrymeat. The Regulations, among other things, make provision in relation to the registration of slaughterhouses and producers and for appeal against decisions regarding registration.
Schedule 1 of these Regulations set out European poultrymeat provisions contravention of which may result in the issuing of a compliance notice.
