Abstract
These Regulations consolidate with amendments the Welfare Food Regulations 1988 which provide for a scheme for the distribution of welfare food. Part II of the Regulations prescribe welfare food entitlements. Part III regulates the issue, use and control of milk tokens. Part IV and V regulate the supply of free milk. Part VI requires suppliers of welfare food to furnish information connected with reimbursement. The Regulations take into account Council Directive 80/181/EC, as amended.
