Abstract
The Resolution is a technical regulation on collecting and processing hazardous waste. It consists of 15 articles: Purpose (1); Scope of application (2); Definition of terms (3); Informational sheet on hazardous waste (4); Implementation of new technologies (5); Mixing hazardous waste (6); Transporting hazardous waste (7); Packaging of hazardous waste (8); Labeling of hazardous waste (9); Temporary storage facility for hazardous waste (10); Special rules for operating temporary storage facility for hazardous waste (11); POP waste (12); Waste of asbestos (13); Oil waste (14); and Liability (15). The Regulation also includes Annex I Informational Sheet on Hazardous Waste and the instructions for filling it out; and Annex II Transportation Form of Hazardous Waste and the instructions for filling it out. The objective of the Resolution is to provide special rules for hazardous substances; tracing mechanisms for hazardous waste from its creation to final storage; packaging and labeling of hazardous waste; requirements for temporary storage facilities; requirements for persistent organic pollutants; as well as requirements for oil and asbestos waste.
