Abstract
The Resolution regulates ozone depleting substances in Georgia. It consists of 12 articles: Purpose (1); Scope of regulation (2); Definition of terms (3); Agency issuing the permit and its authority (4); Issuance and validity period of permits, documents that need to be filed for issuance of the permit (5); Quotas and distribution of ozone depleting substances (6); Grounds to denial of permits and rules for appellation (7); Duties and rights of permit holder and compliance control of permit terms (8); Registry of permits (9); Form of permit (10); Loss or damaging permits (11); and Liability (12). The Resolution also adopts the list of ozone depleting substances included in A, B, C and E Annexes of Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer.
