Law no. 4442 of 2016. New institutional framework for the exercise of economic activity and other provisions.

This Act provides for regulating the exercise of economic activities and the related necessary conditions and procedures. The Act concerns: approval by the competent authority of the operation of the activity; notification process and procedural matters; payment of fees related to the exercise of the economic activity; supervision and control of the competent authority; administrative sanctions and criminal provisions on economic activity practitioners. Further matters covered by this Act include: special provisions for activities concerning processing food and beverages; issuance of certifications and authorisations; provisions for activities concerning tourist accommodation.
