Abstract
With the purpose of giving effect to Commission Directive 2006/131/EC, the present Decree amends the Table in Annex I to Presidential Order 115/97, as laid down in the Table attached to article 3 to this Decree, so as to include methamidophos as active substance contained in plant protection products. After an evaluation of the products containing this substance and where it is deemed necessary, the competent authority of the Ministry of Development and Food (Directorate for the Protection of Plant Production – Division of Plant Protection Products) shall amend or withdraw existing authorisations for plant protection products containing the afore-mentioned active substance by 30 June 2008 the latest (article 2).
