Ministerial Joint Decree No. 282303 establishing additional measures for the implementation of the provisions of Council Regulation (EEC) No. 2081/92 on the protection of geographical indications and designations of origin for agricultural products and foodstuffs.

The aim of this Decree is to establish measures for the application of Council Regulation (EEC) No. 2081/92 as regards the protection of geographical indications and designations of origin for agricultural products and foodstuffs. In particular, the Decree sets out the framework scheme for the production, registration, distribution, labelling, marketing (presentation and advertising) and placing in the market of products to be qualified as protected designation of origin (PDO) or as protected geographical indication (PGI).
