Abstract
Commission Directive 2002/26/EC fixes maximum limits for ochratoxin A in certain foodstuffs and prescribes sampling methods and methods of analysis for the official control of the levels of this substance in foodstuffs. The present Decree adopts the provisions prescribed in this Directive. The sampling for the official control of the maximum level of ochratoxin A in foodstuffs is carried out in accordance with the methods described in Annex I to this Decree. Sample preparation and methods of analyses used for the official control of the levels of the same substance in foodstuffs will comply with the criteria described in Annex II.
