Abstract
With this Decree, certain provisions as regards the organisation of veterinary checks on products entering the Community from third countries, are amended or replaced, in order to comply with Council Directive 97/79/EC. More specifically, article 22 of Presidential Order No. 223/1995 is hereby replaced and article 23 of the same Decree is repealed. Replacements and amendment of phrases are brought forth in articles 19 and 21 of Presidential Order No. 412/1994. In Presidential Order No. 11/1995, paragraph 2 is hereby repealed. Article 11 of Presidential Order No. 297/1997 is replaced by a new text.

Presidential Decree No. 223 implementing EEC Directive 1991/67 establishing animal health conditions governing the placing on the market of aquaculture animals and products.
Presidential Order No. 11 on public health and animal health problems affecting the production and placing on the market of rabbit meat and farmed game meat and relating to the killing of wild game and the placing on the market of wild-game meat in compliance with Council Directives 91/495/EEC and 92/45/EEC.
Presidential Order No. 412 setting out hygiene standards for the placing on the market of bivalve molluscs and fishery products, in compliance with Council Directives Nos. 91/492/EEC, 91/493/EEC and 92/48/EEC.
