Abstract
This Decree, consisting of 39 articles, regulates stone quarries exploitation within the territory of Guinea Bissau, established by Decree-Law No. 4/86. It establishes requirements and environmental standards to exploit sand, gravel, stoneware, dolerite rocks, clays, and other inert essentially destined to civil and industrial works. This Decree specifies the necessary legal framework to regulate the application of the above mentioned stone quarries exploitation and guarantee a clear separation between mineral exploitation, which is under the Law of Mining.
