Decree No. 59/93 approving the Statute of National Council of Environment (CNA).

This Decree approves the Statute of National Council of Environment (CNA). It consists of 13 articles establishing comoposition, duties and competencies of the aforementioned environmental institution entitled to: draw-up environmental projects; propose to the government protective measures in order to prevent environmental pollution; implement and enforce environmental policy; promote the creation of protected areas; promote the Environmetal Impact Assesment in all projects, etc.
