Abstract
This Decree, based on the provisions of the Croatian Law on air protection, establishes the list and locations of measuring stations in the state network for permanent monitoring of air quality in designated zones and agglomerations present on the national territory. This text determines the list and locations of measuring points for monitoring concentrations of pollutants in the air: sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide and nitrogen oxides, floating particles (PM 10 and PM 2.5 ), lead, benzene, carbon monoxide, ground-level ozone and precursors of ground-level ozone, arsenic, cadmium, mercury, nickel, benzo(a)pyrene and other polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the air, as well as measuring points for air quality monitoring that are used for mutual exchange of information and reporting on air quality between the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and the European Commission and reporting in accordance with international agreements in the field of air pollution. Article 2 indicates related adopted European Union thematic documents. New measuring stations from Article 4 (paragraphs 2 and 3) of this Regulation will be established by 31 December 2022.
