Abstract
This Law amends and adds several provisions to the Law on objects of general use (originally published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia 39/2013, with minor corrections made in Gazette 47/2014 and already amended in the Gazette 114/2018).
Change are regarding the provisions of articles 1 (added paragraph that declares that the provisions of this Law regarding the method of sampling, delivery of samples to the laboratory and the obligations of the laboratory shall apply to general purpose items and other products in the case of analysis of chemical indicators of health safety), article 2 (added EU legislative references for Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 on market surveillance and compliance of products and amending Directive 2004/42/EC and Regulations (EC) No 765/2008 and (EU) No 305/2011), added article 2a (official state bodies in charge also of inspection matters), article 3 (definitions of terms), inspection matters and offences and penalties.
