Abstract
This Law, in order to protect life and health of environment and human population, regulates and provides standards for the marketing and use of biocidal preparations in the Republic of Croatia, conditions for the approval for placing of biocidal products into the European Union, procedures for inclusion of active substances into the list of active substances authorized for use, the assessment of biocidal products and test requirements for their effectiveness and control of implementation of secondary rules.
The Law further provides rules necessary for the monitoring and data collection, transport and storage, import and export requirements, methods for the analysis and testing, standards for the correct use, offences and penalties.
This Law is divided into 15 Chapters and 68 articles.
