Abstract
This Regulation establishes the terms and contents of the official Croatian national Action Programme for the protection of waters form pollution deriving from agricultural origin nitrates.
This text sets the goal of passing; interpretation of terms; obligations, conditions and measures; conditions and method of application of certain potentially harmful fertilizers; general principles of fertilizer use; storage and disposal of fertilizers.
The main objective of this Programme is to protect the water from pollution caused by nitrates of agricultural origin in order to achieve good status of water bodies of surface and groundwater and to prevent the deterioration of the aquatic organisms' status as regards the nitrate contamination of agricultural origin.
The Annex (I, II and III) is also part of this publication (classification of border values and limits; administrative/data-record form in Annex III).

This Programme shall enter into force on 1 July 2017 and shall be adopted for a period of four years from the date of its entry into force.
