Abstract
This Regulation changes and adds provisions of the articles 1, 2, 3, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 31 and 32 of the Regulation on the catch, cultivation and trade of tuna (thunnus thynnus), swordfish (xiphias gladius) and needleloom (tetrapturus belone) (Official Gazette 26/11, 31/11, 53/11, 19/12).
Major changes are related to the: definitions; permits and administrative proceedings; registration and data collection; and competent authority duties.
This Regulation also provides for a new Annex I, as an integral part of the Regulation on the catch, cultivation and trade of tuna (thunnus thynnus), swordfish (xiphias gladius) and needleloom (tetrapturus belone) (Official Gazette 26/11, 31/11, 53/11, 19/12).
This Regulation further cancels the provisions prescribed in the previous Annex IV of the Regulation on the catch, cultivation and trade of tuna (thunnus thynnus), swordfish (xiphias gladius) and needleloom (tetrapturus belone) (Official Gazette 26/11, 31/11, 53/11, 19/12).
