Regulation amending the Regulation on the registration of varieties in the list of varieties.

This Regulation amends many provisions prescribed by the Regulation on the registration of varieties in the list of varieties (Official Gazette 45/2008, 84/2008 and 77/2013).
Major changes are related to the adoption of the following documents and their principles into the Croatian legal system: Council Directive 2002/53/EC of 13 June 2002 on the common catalog of varieties of agricultural plant species; Commission Directive 2003/90/EC of 6 October 2003 laying down implementing measures for the purposes of article 7 of the Council Directive 2002/53/EC as regards the minimum characteristics that must include the examination and the minimum conditions for the examination of certain varieties of agricultural plant species, its amending Directive (EU) 2015/1168 of 15 July 2015, amending Directives 2003/90/EC and 2003/91/EC establishing the implementing measures for purposes of article 7 of the Council Directive 2002/53/EC and article 7 of the Council Directive 2002/55/EC as regards the minimum characteristics that must be included in the examination and on the minimum conditions for an overview of some varieties of agricultural plant species and vegetable species; Commission Directive 2003/91/EC of 6 October 2003 laying down the implementation measures for the purposes of the above mentioned article 7 of the Council Directive 2002/55/EC (further including its amending Directive (EU) 2015/1168 of 15 July 2015, amending Directive 2003/90/EC and 2003/91/EC.
This Regulation also changes the contents of the Annex 2.
The amended parts of the Annex are an integral part of this Regulation.
