Regulation on the entry of varieties into the List of Varieties.

This Regulation prescribes the method of registration and management of the Variety List of the Republic of Croatia and the National Variety List, groups of plants for which registration in the Variety List is mandatory, content of the variety list and variety file, conditions and procedure for renewing the registration of a variety in the Variety List, conditions for determining the acceptability of a variety name, supervision over the maintenance of the variety, and the content and method of keeping records on the maintenance of the variety. Enrollment in the Variety List is mandatory for the following groups of plants: cereals, fodder plants, turnips, vegetable species, potatoes, oilseeds and yarn plants. Vegetable species and potatoes can be entered in the National Variety List.
