Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the method of availability and concrete content of information aimed for consumers as regards the data and statistics on fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of new passenger cars, including the transparent principle of consumer informing.
The rules here stipulated are also in accordance with the provisions of the: Directive 1999/94/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 December 1999 on the availability of consumer information on fuel economy and CO2 emissions from new passenger cars; and Commission Directive 2003/73/EC of 24 July 2003 amending Annex III of the Directive 1999/94/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council.
The Annex is an integral part of this publication.
