Abstract
This Regulation provides for standards and requirements necessary fo the classification, marking, labelling and packaging of: a) dangerous substances and preparations placed on the market in the Republic of Croatia, including plant protection products; b) substances that are not dangerous, but may, in some cases, become harmful to the user.
Classification of dangerous properties of substances and preparations are based on the determination of: a) physico-chemical properties; b) characteristics of hazardous substances to the general health; c) substances with properties dangerous for the environment.
The Annexes I-XIV are an integral part of this Regulation.

This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Notes
On the effective date of this Regulation, the Regulation on the criteria for classification of poisons into groups (Official Gazette 47/99), the Regulation on the marking and labelling of poisons that are on the market (Official Gazette 47/99, 187/04), the Regulation on the types of packaging and handling containers for poisons (Official Gazette 39/03) and the Regulation on the list of toxins that can be placed on the market (Official Gazette 30/05) will be no longer in use.
