Abstract
This Regulation hereby defines the criteria to be met by fishing vessels for the purpose of carrying out commercial fishing at sea with the in-depth tools, and the necessary procedure for their entry into the ICCAT register of fishing/catching vessels (International Commission for the conservation of Atlantic Tunas, also called ICCAT) as regards the year 2017.
This text further provides for the list of vessels engaged in commercial fishing with in-service tools and meeting the criteria for the entry into ICCAT register, and also defines the individual catch quotas (for fishing with fishing tools/gear on vessels) for the year 2017.
The rules stipulated by this Regulation shall apply to all vessels that have the right to perform commercial fishing/fisheries at sea with specific tuna fishing tools.
