Regulation on the establishment of the Agricultural Land Agency.

This Regulation establishes the Agricultural Land Agency as a specialised public institution.
The short name of the Agency shall be: APZ.
The founder of the Agency is the Republic of Croatia. The rights and duties of the founder shall be exercised by the Government of the Republic of Croatia.
The scope of work of the Agency shall include the following tasks and activities: Participation in the disposal of agricultural land; Acquisition of privately owned agricultural land and formation of the Land Fund from the acquired agricultural land; Improvement of the farm property structure; Managing the Land Fund; Mediation in the transactions involving privately owned agricultural land; Providing assistance to owners and holders of agricultural land in settling legal property relations in regard of agricultural land; Monitoring and evaluating the effects of various measures of agricultural policy and measures of other policies on the agricultural land use and market; Collecting information about agricultural land market, and preparing technical documents and reports; Linking and coordinating the work of state authorities, institutions, units of regional self-government and units of local self-government in terms of measures of the land policy and other measures with impact on agricultural land use and market; Participating in the proceedings for the regulation of agricultural land in accordance with special legislation; Approval of subdivision of cadastral plots of agricultural land; Disposal with state-owned agricultural land pursuant to the article 97, paragraph 2 of the Law on Agricultural Land (Official Gazette 152/08); Keeping official records of state-owned agricultural land included in the Land Fund, as integral part of the Information System about national agricultural land; Performing other duties in accordance with the Law on Agricultural Land (Official Gazette 152/08) , this Decree, the Statutes of the Agency and other regulations.
