Abstract
This Regulation prescribe the manner of handling raw milk, of carrying out the inspection of raw milk and the measures taken in order to ensure the safety of milk for public consumption (in its raw and/or processed state).
The rules here adopted are in accordance with the criteria set out in the Annex III (section IX, Chapter I) of Regulation (EC) No. 853/2004.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
