Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the necessary form and content of the health marks and identification marks which must be placed as official labelling for food and foodstuff of animal origin that is/or will be placed on the market.
This text transposes the provisions contained in the following documents: Regulation (EC) No. 853/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 laying down specific hygiene rules for food of animal origin; and Regulation (EC) No. 854/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 laying down specific rules for the organization of official controls on products of animal origin intended for human consumption.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
