Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the form and content of health marks or labels and identification marks with which food of animal origin must be marked for the purpose of placing of the same on the market. This text also sets the form and content of special marks with which food of animal origin must be marked, and defines the necessary procedures for determining facilities for reducing the risk of African swine fever. This Regulation further ensures the implementation of related EU legislative documents (as specified in article 2).
The Annex is also part of this text (display of designated marks/labels; request for facility application for inclusion on the list from article 44, paragraph 3 of Regulation (EU) 2023/594).
