Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the quality requirements that fruit juices and similar products intended for consumption must meet during production and placing on the market, and they relate to: names, definitions and general requirements; composition and sensory properties; the type and quantity of raw materials and other substances used in production and processing; additional labelling requirements. The provisions of this text shall apply to the products listed in Annex I. This text transposes the rules provided in the Council Directive 2001/112/EC relating to fruit juices and certain similar products intended for human consumption.
