Abstract
This Regulation sets general requirements for the quality of grain, milling and bakery products, pasta and pasta products, which are placed on the market, and related to: a) the technological procedures used in the production and processing; b) sensory properties and composition; c) additional or specific requirements for labelling and marking; d) type and quantity of raw materials, additives and other substances used in production and processing; e) classification and terminology.
Declaration for labelling of packaged and unpackaged products for the end consumer as well as their presentation and advertising is prescribed by the regulations for the general food labelling, regulations on nutrition labelling for food and provisions of this Regulation.
Unpackaged marketed products must be visible at point of sale to the consumer with marked mass of the product and name of the manufacturer.
Additives can be added in the production, if in accordance with special regulations governing food additives that may be present in food.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, and shall be fully applied from 1 January 2006.
Notes
On the effective date of this Regulation, the Regulation on the quality of grain mill and bakery products, pasta and quickly frozen dough (Official Gazette 53/91 and 158/03) will be no longer in force.
