Abstract
This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Croatian Law on agriculture, prescribes the implementation of the Support Programme for corn seed producers due to difficult business conditions caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, adopted by the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Croatia on 25 August 2022. Support from the Programme shall be granted in accordance with the national law and Communication from the Commission - Temporary framework for state aid measures to support the economy following Russia's aggression against Ukraine (dated 23 March 2022). Eligible beneficiaries of support in the implementation of this aid Programme are beneficiaries who must meet the following conditions: a) be registered in the Register of Farmers; b) be entered in the Register of suppliers of agricultural seeds and registered for seed production; c) have submitted a single application for support for corn in 2022; d) have a registered annual declaration of corn seed production with the Croatian Agency for Agriculture and Food for the year 2022
