Abstract
This Regulation provides for implementing measures to ban recycling of fish within the same species, burial and burning of animal by-products in accordance with the Regulation on animal by-products not intended for human consumption (Official Gazette 87/09).
Fish catch and by-products from fish caught in high seas or lakes can be used: a) to produce food for fish; b) as fish food.
Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development takes the necessary measures to control: a) the processing and use of feed containing processed animal protein derived from the carcass or parts of bodies of animals of the same species; b) animals that are fed under the provision of this Regulation, including the strict supervision of the health status of the same; c) compliance with the requirements of the Annex I attached to this Regulation.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
