Regulation on the integrated production of agricultural products.

This Regulation controls the system of integrated production of agricultural products, and provides for the terms and conditions of registration in the Register of integrated production, labelling and marketing of integrated products and other issues important for the implementation of this system. Basic provisions includes: a) technological instructions which constitute a description of modern farming practices in integrated manufacturing; b) technological instructions in integrated manufacturing which are made in the field of horticulture, vegetable growing, viticulture and farming; c) technological instructions which must be aligned with regulations on pesticides, regulations on the conservation of nature, the rules of good agricultural practice and the prescribed quality requirements for certain agricultural products; d) the obligation of the manufacturer to implement the technology for integrated production; e) the obligation of the manufacturer to include in the integrated production all agricultural land on which the same culture grows.
In integrated production on the territory of the Croatian Republic, the use of genetically modified organisms and products containing or made with GMO is prohibited.
The products from the manufacture of integrated production, if marketed, must be labelled in accordance with special regulations on labelling, advertising and presentation of food and special regulations on quality standards for certain agricultural products.
