Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the necessary prohibitions and restrictions as well as other mandatory treatments for the disposal of polychlorinated biphenyls and polychlorinated terphenyls (PCBs, considered as hazardous waste), in order to protect the environment and human health and in order to report to the European Commission.
The rules here defined are regarding the marking, storage, transport and processing, record keeping, reporting and monitoring, all related to the management and disposal of the above mentioned hazardous waste on the territory of the Republic of Croatia, and further in accordance with the European and other international rules in that field.
The text is fully in accordance with the provisions brought by the Council Directive 96/59/EC of 16 September 1996 on the disposal of polychlorinated biphenyls and polychlorinated terphenyls (PCBs / PCTs).
The full Annex is also an integral part of this Regulation.
