Regulation on the Marketing of Beet Seed.

This Regulation prescribes the types of beet whose seed can be certified and the certification requirements for seed, seed categories of certain types of beet and the conditions which must satisfy certain categories of seed.
This Regulation also provides for: beet seed production conditions, terms and procedure for supervision and control under official supervision, training and program requirements under which the supplier is allowed to carry out surveillance; conditions to be met by suppliers of agricultural seeds, the method and time of application for monitoring, report form, the form of certificate of recognition of seed crops, content and manner of keeping records of issued forms, content, form and manner for keeping records of weight; minimum requirements on the quality of seeds, seed lot size for each type of plant, supervision of samplers, supervision of laboratories; application form for certification of seeds; documents, content, form and manner of keeping records of issued certificates of semen, the methods and subsequent implementation of control; the methods for packaging, sealing and labelling of beet seed, small package size for each type; terms for trade of seed; conditions for the marketing of seed which is treated with chemicals or pesticides; requirements for the organic farming, the import documents that must accompany the seed; conditions for the import and marketing of seeds in terms of packaging, sealing and labelling.
The Annexes I-V are an integral part of this Regulation.
